Facebook revealed that they were the
target of sophisticated attacks'' hacking'' last month, but make sure
there is no user data was stolen.
US-based social networking site said the attack occurred when workers visit a website developer who has hacked'' moving''.
Facebook in a statement said that they were not the only company experiencing such kind of attacks.
"Last month, Facebook Security found that our system is the target of a sophisticated attack,'' explained the company is headquartered in California.
"The attack came as the number of workers they visit a site that has been hacked mobile developers.''
Virus types of malware and then downloaded on their laptops, adding:'' As soon as we discovered the presence of malware, we immediately fix all the infected machines, notify law enforcement, and began a significant investigation which is still ongoing to this day.''
More than one billion people in the world use Facebook so there were concerns about whether their data stolen participate.
"We found no evidence that Facebook user data stolen in the attack,'' Facebook sure.
"It is clear that many others were also attacked and compromised recently. As one of the first to find this malware, we immediately share this intrusion-related measures with other companies that are also affected,'' said Facebook.
This is the latest sophisticated attacks that hackers are targeting popular websites.
Twitter earlier this month announced that they are having an attack which caused 250,000 user data including passwords, names, electronic mail and other data stolen by hackers who referred to them as'' not an'' amateur.
The New York Times, Washington Post and Wall Street Journal were also hacked accused China of involvement in hacking their security system - something denied by China.
